She's got good bones! And she's a brick HOUSE! We are thrilled to be able to bring this home to the market and show you all around! Nestled on a street in Easley where mature trees dress the neighborhood and well manicured yards set the stage your next home is awaiting. A brick charmer for sure! Coming in the door you will find an open floor plan and plenty of space for a sectional sofa. The kitchen gives ample cabinet space for storage. The breakfast area is plenty sized and has access to the covered back porch. The owner loved her backyard. It is peppered with blooming shrubs and trees. The well established yard is perfect for pets to play and explore. Back inside there is a laundry room just off the kitchen. This makes chores easy as pie! Access to the carport makes it so nice when bringing in groceries! Down the hall are all the bedrooms. The master has a private bath with a shower. All the bedrooms are well sized with good closet space. The basement is just a bonus for this home! IT IS HUGE! You could park 3 cars in it! Or make this a place to tinker on your automobile, motorcycle, or turn it into a workshop! There are endless possibilities here! I really feel you will enjoy the location of Kennedy as it is close to everything! Minutes away is where the new Willy Taco is coming. A short drive to downtown Easley will give you access to the Doodle Trail and the new Silo’s coming to town. Everyone is returning to normal and getting out and exploring! Live close to it all! The schools are award winning! This home has been well loved through the years! Come let us show you the way HOME!

History

This town may have a long history, but it was not always called Easley. Early settlers were known to call the community Rockville by the year 1791, and the name was changed to Pickensville shortly after. The railroad arrived to the area in 1874, sparking yet another name change for this small town. The railroad reached a nearby town called Easley just two miles away, causing commerce and business to move from Pickensville to Easley. In 1875, a new charter was granted to the entire area, adopting its current name.

In 1953, Easley Textile Company, later known as Swirl Inc., came to Easley, which brought many jobs for residents. This company created the “Swirl” wrap dress, which was a successful and much-needed boost for the local economy. And in 1956, Saco Lowell, a manufacturer of yarn production equipment, built a plant in Easley. At this point, the infrastructure of Easley began to expand, as the construction of US-123 brought new business into the city.
